The Encinitas Union School District is seeking a Language Development Teacher to plan and deliver language instruction and social emotional supports to students who are emergent bilingual/multilingual. Individuals in this role will serve as the lead teacher for the after school language program; assist in planning and developing instructional supports to assist classroom teachers in delivering effective and consistent language and literacy instruction across the content areas for multilingual students;

and work collaboratively with site community liaisons to provide consistent communication between school and home and to provide resources to assist families with supporting their children  Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is located in the North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools. District's Vision:

Salary placement is based on experience, with credit given for up to 10 years of prior teaching. In addition, Music Teacher positions are scheduled to transition to a 185-day work calendar and will be compensated on the certificated salary schedule beginning in the  school year, providing a clear pathway for professional growth and long-term alignment with certificated roles. The weekly work schedule is 9:15am-4:45pm, Monday through Friday.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, CalSTRS Retirement You will have the opportunity to clear your teaching credential at no cost through the district offered Teacher Induction Program. Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. TB test at applicant's expense.
