Client Relationship Consultant – U.S. Bank
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide the best possible counsel while adapting a digital‑first mindset. Strong client relationships are based on trust, assessing and attending to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, and demonstrating and educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
Consultants recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs, proactively outreach, follow up, and engage clients to learn about their financial situations and banking channel preferences.
- Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and personalized engagement.
- Obtain and process customer and account information in compliance with bank policies.
- Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products, digital services, and self‑service tools.
- Recommend solutions that meet clients’ reactive and proactive needs.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to provide an optimal client experience and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with branch team members and partners to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 3–4 years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
- Current, satisfactory criminal and credit record to maintain NMLS registration.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Thorough knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and support systems.
- Experience with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Proficiency in making recommendations that align with customer needs.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
