Pharmacist II

This position focuses on providing pharmaceutical care to patients receiving infusion therapies, particularly chemotherapy, at the Encinitas Infusion Center. Duties include reviewing and verifying chemotherapy regimens, overseeing IV chemotherapy preparation, and providing patient counseling. The role also provides oversight of medication compounding for two off-site locations.
Minimum Qualifications- Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
- Registered Pharmacist licensed by the state of California (RPH).
- Kindly meet the minimum experience qualifications within one of the following:
- PGY2 training.
- PGY1 training plus 1 year of pharmacist experience.
- 4 years of pharmacist experience.
- PGY2 Oncology Residency.
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP).
- Prior experience in an inpatient pharmacy or ambulatory infusion center setting.
- Prior experience in an oncology pharmacy setting.
- Experience with IV/chemotherapy checking.
- Oncology/Hematology experience.
- Patient counseling skills.
- Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, and be on-call.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
Annual Full Pay Range: $220,827 – $220,827 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%).
Hourly Equivalent: $105.76 – $105.76.
