People Operations Coordinator

Description People Operations Coordinator - Biotech & Life Sciences A growing life sciences organization is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join its HR team and become a key point of contact for employees throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the intersection of HR, administration, organization, and employee support. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where confidentiality, accuracy, and follow-through are extremely important.

What You'll Be Doing + Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees + Prepare new-hire paperwork and maintain personnel records + Schedule orientations, training sessions, and employee meetings + Assist with HRIS updates and employee data changes + Coordinate background checks, I-9 documentation, and employment verification + Support benefits enrollment and employee questions + Track employee changes, transfers, leaves, and terminations + Assist with HR reporting and workforce data + Maintain confidential employee files and documentation + Partner with recruiting teams on interview scheduling and candidate communication + Help coordinate employee engagement activities + Assist with internal HR communications and policy updates + Support HR leadership with special projects and process improvements Requirements + 2+ years of HR, People Operations, or administrative experience + Strong organizational and time-management skills + Excellent written and verbal communication + Comfortable handling confidential information +
