General Maintenance Engineer II

Responsibilities

A General Maintenance Engineer II will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front-of-house areas. Guest room and public area preventive maintenance are included. The engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.

• Working knowledge of power tools and related equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electro‑mechanical systems successfully.
• Willingness to take initiative and be innovative with problem solving.
• Working knowledge of electricity and plumbing.
• Working knowledge of pool equipment care.
• Working knowledge of spa equipment care.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to take direction and work unsupervised.
• 3 years of previous maintenance experience in a hotel, commercial building, or equivalent specialized trade.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R.

$26.13 per hour.
