* A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer II will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

_Essential:_

· _          _Valid California Driver's License._

· _          _Working knowledge of power tools and related equipment._

· _          _Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electro-mechanical systems successfully._

· _          _Must be willing to take initiative and have ability to be innovative with problem solving._

· _          _Working knowledge of electricity and plumbing._

· _          _Working knowledge of pool equipment care._

· _          _Working knowledge of spa equipment care._

· _          _Ability to work well with others._

· _          _Ability to take direction and work unsupervised._

_Desirable:_

· _        _3 years previous maintenance experience in hotel, building or commercial building, or equivalent experience in a specialized trade._

· _          _CPR/first aid qualified._

· _          _Knowledge of HVAC/R_
