As a Fisheries Biologist, you will join a dedicated team focused on preserving cultural and natural resources. This role encompasses managing and executing diverse projects in aquatic ecology, environmental impact assessments, and permitting. You will play a crucial role in liaising with clients, developing proposals, and coordinating aquatic studies for positive environmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate client liaison and business development efforts
• Oversee fisheries and aquatic studies, managing project tasks
• Design habitat restoration and compensation measures
• Conduct comprehensive environmental studies and reporting
• Train technical staff and community members for project success
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources or Biology
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aquatic ecology and fisheries biology
• Understanding of Southern Interior BC freshwater fisheries
• Registered (or eligible) Professional Biologist in BC
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal communication skills
