Electronics Test Technician

Electronics test technicians at BAE Systems, Inc. work with controls and avionics systems for some of the most well-known military aircraft in the world, testing components of these systems built right here in Endicott, NY for functionality and build quality. As an electronics test technician you will perform both automated and manual test procedures on electronic circuits, and draw from a healthy understanding of electronics principals, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot test failures.

Technicians must understand how to use instrumentation and tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers and must be able to read and understand technical documentation such as electrical schematics, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate for this job has excellent attention to detail, enjoys solving challenging technical problems and is able to follow written procedures and abide by their guidelines.
