Hardware Design Engineer-Product Support
Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for qualified electrical engineers to design, develop, and support high-power electronics control and power systems used in hybrid and electrical buses, trucks, and vessels across the globe. This is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of full life cycle hardware development, gain direct user exposure, contribute to and support an increasing EV product suite.
As a Hardware Design Engineer-Product Support you will make impacts in the following ways:
- Design, developing and production following of high-power electronics control and propulsion systems used in hybrid and electrical buses, trucks and vessels across the globe.
- Conduct research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
- Design new or modifies existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications.

Structured (e.g. DO-178B like), DO-254
Development Environment: GIT, JIRA, Synergy
Other:
Development team is onsite in Endicott, NY.

Leadership
Skills:
Ability to quickly come up-to-speed and mentor others
Required Skills:
Two or more years of experience with Power Electronics related design and development Familiarity with motor drives, gate drivers, analog circuitry, and magnetics Technical writing skills:
Engineering documentation
These would be a plus:
Experience with Full-Lifecycle development, including component-level requirements and design, component and system-level integration, validation and verification. Experience working in a high voltage / high power lab environment.
