Electrical Engineer
This role is with a global manufacturing company operating a modern manufacturing facility in the Endwell, NY area. The Electrical Engineer will provide electrical design, development, and testing support for parts and products manufactured at the facility.
Schedule:
Full time, on-site.
Compensation: $63,000 to $70,000 per year.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will provide electrical design, development, and testing of parts, and you will review and create schematics and PCB layouts. You will debug hardware and software issues, and you will perform PCB rework, soldering, and component replacement as needed. You will create scripts to automate firmware and test equipment processes, and you will interact directly with customers and vendors as part of the design and testing process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience (co-op and internship experience considered)
- Experience with Mentor Graphics PADS, OrCAD, Altium, or similar PCB design software
- Experience using test tools such as meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- Eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Ability to relocate to the Endwell, NY area
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with C, C#, FPGA, or Python
