About The Position

Position Title:

Sales & Service Representative

Position Overview:

The Service and Sales Representative (SSR) delivers high-quality service to members while supporting a broad range of branch operations, including account servicing, transaction processing, and issue resolution. This role requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to learn quickly, and sound judgment when managing member needs and operational priorities. The SSR also serves as a trusted resource within the branch and may support day-to-day operations in the absence of leadership.

You will support members with everyday banking needs while identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being. With comprehensive training provided, this position is designed as a foundational entry point into the banking industry, offering the opportunity to develop essential skills and grow into advanced roles within the organization.

Position Type:
Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM, with alternating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM (2-3 per month).

Compensation Range: $23.00/hr.

- $30.00/hr hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills

Location:

Position is on-site at our McKinley Branch located at 24 McKinley Ave., Endicott. Coverage at our Newark Valley Branch located at 7198 State Route 38 Newark Valley, NY, as needed.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to members, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in every interaction
  • Support a full range of branch transactions, account maintenance, and member service needs
  • Navigate and operate across multiple systems to complete transactions, research issues, and resolve member inquiries
  • Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for teammates and step in to support branch operations in the absence of leadership
  • Identify member needs and connect them to appropriate products, services, or internal partners
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Members feel confident, understood, and well-served—especially in complex or high-value interactions
  • Transactions and inquiries are handled accurately with minimal escalation
  • You move seamlessly between systems and responsibilities without losing momentum
  • You are viewed as a reliable, solutions-oriented presence by both members and teammates
  • You proactively take ownership of challenges and follow through to resolution

What we're looking for:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Associates Degree with 1-3 years of experience, 3-5 years of experience in lieu of a degree
