Utility Worker
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Associate. The Utility Associate oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by checking pipe during and after the finishing process, and runs any necessary equipment.
Job Responsibilities- Keeps area clean at all times
- Inspects pipe left on carts by the previous shift
- Assist Machine Tender during string up process
- Rework pipe
- Preband bundles and put in center bands
- Recycle steel-banding scraps
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
High School diploma or GED Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, and colleagues Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
