About the Role

An established and growing water treatment provider is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Water Softener Technician with plumbing experience to join its expanding field team.

You will attend domestic properties, installing, servicing, and repairing water softeners and drinking water systems while delivering a high standard of customer care. Full product training will be provided through a structured induction programme, so prior water treatment experience is advantageous but not essential.

This position would suit a technically minded, hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and communicates confidently with customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation of domestic water softeners and drinking water systems

* Servicing and maintenance of existing systems

* Fault diagnosis and repairs

* Providing excellent customer service during all site visits

* Maintaining accurate job records and documentation

* Ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards

Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 years’ domestic plumbing experience

* Experience with water softeners or drinking water systems (preferred but not essential)

* Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

* Excellent customer service experience

* High attention to detail

* Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn

Requirements

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to take ownership of workload
