Senior Accountant and Tax Preparer - Experience Required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience using Quick Books to prepare year-end financial statements.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preparing Partnership, S Corporation, and Individual Tax Returns using professional tax software (e.g., Ultra Tax, Drake, Pro Series, etc.).
• Proven ability to complete work independently, communicate with clients, and manage engagements from start to finish.
• Strong computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours during tax season.
• Reliable daily commute to the office.

• Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Knowledge of other accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, etc.)
• CPA or EA Credential

• Perform monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations for clients in various industries.
• Prepare year-end journal entries and financial statements for tax preparation.
• Prepare and review business and individual income tax returns.
• Communicate with clients regarding missing information or transaction details.
• Respond to client questions and provide clear guidance on tax and accounting matters.
