Automotive Repair Technician

Location:

Enfield - 25 Hazard Avenue, STE 2B, Enfield, CT 06082.

Competitive flat‑rate compensation based on experience and location. A‑, B‑, and C‑level technicians have differing rates and guaranteed billable hours, with opportunity to earn a productivity incentive bonus.

• A Technicians
  : $28.93‑$40.60 hourly, 30‑hour billable week guarantee.
• B Technicians
  : $25.81‑$36.25 hourly, 20‑hour billable week guarantee.
• C Technicians
  : $22.50‑$35.00 hourly, 20‑hour billable week guarantee.
• Productivity incentive bonus: $250‑$550 per bi‑weekly paycheck.

Work schedule:

five days per week;
Monday, Friday, and Saturday typically required. Sundays off each week and one additional day off during the week depends on business needs.

Accurately perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of vehicles, including:

• Engine performance and related components
• Automatic and manual transmissions
• Suspension, steering, and brakes (including ABS/traction control)
• Electrical systems
• Heating and air‑conditioning

Maintain in‑depth knowledge of specialized skills and continuously develop additional technical skills to support flexibility in work assignments.

• Prior experience as an automotive technician
• ASE certification or equivalent automotive diagnostic/repair certification preferred; ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (paid by AAA)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of pre‑employment screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position
• Authorized to work in the United States
