Overview
Capel Manor College is seeking a Lecturer in Floristry to provide high‑quality teaching and learning on our Floristry courses. The role is a fixed‑term, part‑time position, working 7.2 hours per week.
Responsibilities• Prepare and deliver stimulating lessons across the Floristry curriculum, from the Level 1 Foundation Diploma to the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma.
• Design and assess student progress, giving timely feedback.
• Set challenging yet achievable goals for all students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects the College’s values.
• Participate in short workshops such as dried flowers, floral design, floral table design, and winter wreath workshops.
• Experienced florist and/or lecturer with a passion for teaching and sharing expertise.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students, promoting intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
• Relevant industry experience or proven teaching experience is highly regarded.
• £5,762‑£6,378 for qualified lecturers on a part‑time basis, or £6,729.20‑£8,878.80 for qualified lecturers.
