The College is seeking part-time non-credit lecturers who are passionate about inspiring and training the next generation of Beauty, Spa, and Wellness professionals. Under the supervision of the Director or designee, the non-credit lecturer is accountable for the effective performance in these essential duties:

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards
• Evaluating and assessing student learning outcomes
• Providing student support, mentoring, and academic advising
• Developing curriculum and periodically reviewing and updating instructional materials

• Current State of CT Certification in the field you are applying to
• Two (2) or more years of related work experience in the field you are applying to.
• Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or laboratory environment.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department.

• Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non-credit training programs, particularly in short-term certificate or credential-aligned programs.
• Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid).
• Knowledge of the current industry trends and workforce needs.
• Two (2) or more years of practical experience in the field for which you are applying with an understanding of industry credentialing or licensure requirements.
