Esthetician, Eyelash Technician, Hairdresser, Nail Technician
The College seeks part‑time non‑credit lecturers passionate about training the next generation of Beauty, Spa, and Wellness professionals. Candidates may be retired, exploring a career change, or experienced practitioners aiming to share their expertise. Lecturers will inspire students, delivering industry‑relevant instruction while earning a competitive wage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Teach courses within the assigned discipline in accordance with institutional standards
- Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes
- Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising
- Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials
- Current State of CT Certification in the relevant field
- Two or more years of related work experience
- Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab setting
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non‑credit training programs
- Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid)
- Knowledge of current industry trends and workforce needs
- Two or more years of practical experience aligned with industry credentialing or licensure requirements
Salary commensurate with specific course, location, and demand.
