Courses include:
Esthetician, Eyelash Technician, Hairdresser, Nail Technician

Position Summary

The College seeks part‑time non‑credit lecturers passionate about training the next generation of Beauty, Spa, and Wellness professionals. Candidates may be retired, exploring a career change, or experienced practitioners aiming to share their expertise. Lecturers will inspire students, delivering industry‑relevant instruction while earning a competitive wage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach courses within the assigned discipline in accordance with institutional standards
  • Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes
  • Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising
  • Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current State of CT Certification in the relevant field
  • Two or more years of related work experience
  • Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab setting
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non‑credit training programs
  • Experience designing or delivering customized training programs (onsite, online, or hybrid)
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and workforce needs
  • Two or more years of practical experience aligned with industry credentialing or licensure requirements
