Position:
World Language Educator

Description: Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate World Language Educator specializing in Spanish. The ideal candidate will utilize research-based best practices for teaching and learning within the world language content area. This position requires a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging learning environment that aligns with our mission statement.

Qualifications:

• Must be working toward or hold CT certification (009) Bilingual, PK–12 / Spanish, 4–12 (023).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of research-based best practices for teaching and learning in world languages.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans that meet diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and district goals.
• Utilize instructional technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve instructional practices.
