Make a meaningful impact on young students educational journeys by bringing your expertise as a school psychologist to a supportive academic environment. This contract opportunity runs from December through the end of April and focuses solely on conducting evaluations for early elementary students. Youll dedicate your primary attention to a K-2 campus, with the possibility of completing an occasional evaluation at a nearby parochial site.

No counseling duties are required your evaluative expertise will drive student success.

Key Qualifications
  • Active Connecticut School Psychologist (CT PSYCH) license required
  • Strong background in conducting comprehensive psycho educational assessments in school settings
  • Familiarity with developmental and learning assessments for K-2 populations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with teachers, administrators, and special services teams
Role Responsibilities
  • Perform psycho educational evaluations for students in grades K-2, focusing solely on assessment and eligibility
  • Compile thorough reports and communicate results clearly to educational teams and families
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding student evaluations and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with school teams to schedule and prioritize evaluations efficiently
  • Provide occasional support for evaluations at a parochial school as needed
