Are you a Russell Group graduate with aspirations to become a teacher or Educational Psychologist? Do you want to inspire ambitious Sixth Form students and help them reach their full potential? This Sixth Form Mentor opportunity in Enfield offers exceptional classroom experience in a high-achieving school.

As a Sixth Form Mentor, you will work closely with Year 12 and Year 13 students, providing academic and pastoral support while helping them overcome barriers to success. As a Sixth Form Mentor, you'll encourage students to achieve outstanding outcomes and make informed decisions about their futures.

Sixth Form Mentor
- Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor Sixth Form students, providing academic, pastoral and wellbeing support.
  • Support attendance, engagement and behaviour through targeted interventions and one-to-one mentoring.
  • Guide students through UCAS applications, personal statements, CV writing, apprenticeships and university applications.
  • Encourage high aspirations and support students in securing places at leading universities and competitive destinations.
  • Coordinate careers events, university visits, enrichment opportunities and work experience.
  • Work alongside teachers, families and external agencies to maximise student progress and wellbeing.
  • Maintain safeguarding records and contribute to the wider Sixth Form pastoral team.

The successful Sixth Form Mentor will be a high-achieving graduate, ideally from a Russell Group university, with outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for education. This Sixth Form Mentor role is perfect for graduates looking to gain invaluable experience before progressing into teacher training or Educational Psychology.
