How you can make an impact
- Perform precise calibration, repair and maintenance on customer pipettes, ensuring they meet defined performance and quality standards.
- Complete all services with high attention to detail, accurately documenting work performed and results in the required systems.
- Ensure that all service activities are recorded with the correct level of detail and in a timely manner so that invoicing and Quality Management System requirements are fully met.
- Monitor and address all system needs related to each service order (status updates, parts, documentation) to keep workflows smooth and traceable.
- Provide clear updates to customers and stakeholders on service status, findings and next steps, helping them plan their lab work with confidence.
- Support continuous quality and process improvements by flagging recurring issues, anomalies or improvement ideas from your day‑to‑day work.
- Bringing a high school diploma or GED equivalent as a minimum; an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school is preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant technical or customer experience (e.g. sales, service, lab support) or equivalent military training plus 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a careful working style that ensure calibrations, repairs and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn: you are comfortable working with small precision instruments and following defined procedures.
- Basic familiarity with business or service systems (or the ability to learn them quickly) to document work, close orders and support invoicing.
- Good communication skills that enable you to provide clear, professional updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- A reliability‑focused mindset: you take responsibility for your work, follow quality and safety guidelines and keep commitments.
- 2nd shift:
Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm. - We value your contribution. An hourly wage in the range of $21–$23, plus bonus eligibility, recognizes your role in ensuring accurate, reliable pipettes for our customers.
