Accountabilities Be an active member of the Technical Services department working alongside Machine Operators and Technical Engineers to ensure site KPI's are achieved and to develop and implement a strategy to optimise the reliability and efficiency of equipment on site.
To manage own working hours in line with site priorities and by request of the Technical Services & EHS Manager.
To spend majority of time on the shop floor monitoring the equipment and challenging poor performance of the machines and upskilling operators.
To execute all activities in compliance with safety standards and guidelines to ensure theirs and their colleagues safety.
To execute planned corrective and preventative maintenance schedules that have been allocated to the PTE.To reviews and validate standards (SOPs, CILs, SWIs) for Autonomous Teams where required.
To be the final internal technical escalation point for breakdowns.
To be hands on in ATO deep cleaning and tagging exercises.
To create documents to support training of both operators and Engineering Technicians.
To collaborate on ATO implementation, developing the operator & technician skill sets through training and coaching.
To collaborate with the Reliability FLM and SMEs in creating optimal SKAP training documents.
Implementation of focus GOPs.To be actively involved in reviewing 5
Ys and feedback to the authors to help improve the quality of RCA and knowledge of the shop floor.
To participate in equipment reliability events - this will include PM, CIL and SOP reviews.
Collaborates with the Maintenance Planner to ensure that long-term and medium-term plans are in place.
To work with the Maintenance Planner to identify parts required to be staged when required.
To audit and support actions to improve and sustain 5S in allocated area.
To attend external training courses and work closely with the OEMs.Attends routine meetings in line with the Brewery MCRS. as required
Flexibility to drop onto shift when requested.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
It is essential that you are an expert in your core field as a qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineers. It is desirable that you can demonstrate an aptitude and desire to learn in your non-core field. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled or a specialist in a certain discipline.
Advanced level skill set, qualifications and demonstrable experience working safely in a high speed manufacturing/processing environment within a maintenance department or comparable technical services team.
Experience in operating at a Technical Expert level in a World Class environment delivering proven process depth knowledge of brewing & packaging equipment and machinery as well as batch process control used in brewing systems.
