Lead Production OperatorFull Time Manual Labor Enfield, NC, US
The Saw Mill Team Lead reports to the area Supervisor and is responsible for making the proper adjustments to ensure product quality and efficient operation. This critical position ensures the product meets all requirements, including safety and work procedures, equipment cleanliness, daily inspections, and completion of required forms.

Shift: Monday
- Friday, 7am - 3:30pm - Night
Shift: Monday
- Friday, 3:30pm - 12am
- Follow safety and work procedures.
- Understand Binderholz grading/trimming rules for lumber.
- Use computers, HMI, and control panels to operate equipment and maintain a flow of wood for the production lines.
- Use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, feeler gauges) to ensure product meets specifications.
- Communicate with line operators and shift leaders regarding any production or quality issues.
- Feed, set up, align, and adjust equipment to proper speed and specifications to maintain quality and productivity.
- Provide a steady flow of wood for the production line process.
- Check quality of material coming into and out of the equipment.
- Perform quality checks on lumber being produced.
- Perform general maintenance of equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Dependable and able to take direction.
- Can work flexible schedules and long hours.
- Minimal prior skills required; willing to learn general manufacturing duties.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all temperatures, in a loud, high-volume environment.
- Perform essential functions of job that include walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Can work with computer software, human machine interface (HMI), and control panels to operate equipment safely and effectively.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time; sit, stand, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl occasionally.
- Frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly work near moving mechanical parts.
- Exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions.
