We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night Shift Team. You will be responsible for 25 skilled nursing residents and supervising 50 residential care residents.
Expected hours: 30-37.5 per week, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate assigned residents daily with timely reporting of changes in residents’ status or condition to Director of Nursing or designee.
- Administer and document prescribed medications/treatments accurately and timely in compliance with policies/procedures.
- Notify resident physician and responsible party of untoward change of resident status, with prior reporting (if possible) to the Director of Nursing or Mother Superior.
- Supervise and follow up with Nursing Assistance Care and assignments.
- At least 3-5 years Long Term Care experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (State of Connecticut) is required
- Previous supervisory & leadership skills
- Familiarity with medical software:
Point Click Care (PCC) and equipment - Be able to function independently performing related duties/tasks with minimum supervision or directions.
