Job Summary:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking dedicated and qualified substitute school nurses to provide nursing services to students in grades preK-12 on a per diem/as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver nursing care to students, ensuring their health and well-being.

* Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.

* Manage and dispense medications according to school policies.

* Maintain accurate health records and documentation.

* Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health needs.

* Promote a healthy and safe school environment.

Requirements:

* Valid Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license.

* Current CPR/AED certification.

* Previous experience in school nursing or as a substitute school nurse is preferred.

* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established guidelines.

* Strong assessment and communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

* Proficiency with computer programs and electronic health records.

Compensation:

* Daily rate of $300.

* Half-day rate of $150.
* $350 per day after 10 consecutive days of work.
