Description
Prime Health Care, PC is looking for a full-time Primary Care APRN or PA-C to join our team at Enfield, CT location! We are a privately owned practice seeking a team player who is passionate about patient care.
Job Role s- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients
- Performs annual wellness visits for Medicare patients
- Performs preoperative physicals
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s specific needs
- Prescribes appropriate medications
- Administers injections
- Performs and/or assists minor surgical procedures as qualified
- Obtains wound and other cultures as indicated
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
- Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools
- Strong communication skills
- Able to use sound judgment
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) skill preferred
- Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant in the State of CT
- Healthcare experience
- Certification/Licensure
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS); CPR certified
