Hartford Healthcare seeks a compassionate RN to join our Oncology Practice in Connecticut. In this role, you'll provide direct patient care to oncology patients across the treatment continuum, including assessment, chemotherapy and infusion administration, symptom management, and patient education. You will coordinate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, support patients and families, and ensure safe, evidence-based practice.

- Provide direct oncology nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies following safety and oncology protocols
- Monitor patients for side effects and complications, intervening promptly as needed
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Follow evidence-based oncology nursing standards and infection prevention practices
- Support patients and families emotionally through the cancer care journey
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the practice
- Engage in ongoing professional development and oncology-specific training
