CMM Programmer

Responsibilities- Generate and prove out CMM programs for Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris CMMs to perform dimensional inspections on aerospace components.
- Set up and prove out created or modified programs using provided fixtures, models, and work instructions.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Review and interpret CMM results, identify potential nonconformances, and elevate issues appropriately.
- Maintain and organize CMM programs and related documentation, troubleshoot inspection issues, and support root cause analysis for dimensional discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel to resolve measurement‑related challenges and improve process flow.
- May also train other inspection personnel on CMM use and documentation.
- Mid‑level experience with coordinate‑measure machines.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality processes.
- Salary: $80,000‒$110,000 per year.
