This is an Armed Security Officer FLEX position.

39 hours per week

Thursdays  Enfield

Fridays  Willimantic

(Saturday, Sunday, Monday Off)

Current Wage: $26.35- $27.17 hour

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum five years law enforcement, corrections or active military armed experience. Must currently own a full-size Glock or Smith & Wesson in either 9mm or .40 caliber

Armed Security Officer Responsibilities

• Staying very alert
• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
• Using verbal de-escalation when needed
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur

Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CT Carry permit
• CT Armed security license
