Job Overview

Due to recently winning new contracts in the area, our client is recruiting for an experienced and qualified Legionella Plumber. You will be attending a range of commercial, domestic and public sector premises, conducting predominantly pre-planned remedial duties, and some urgent works when needed. Our client is able to offer excellent cross‑training into other areas of the industry, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and growing outfit.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Legionella Plumber within an established outfit
  • Must hold NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
  • Ideally qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket
  • Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Adaptable to changing travel requirements
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
Role Responsibilities
  • Undertake a wide variety of remedial duties as a result of highlighted compliance issues from legionella risk assessments
  • Removal of deadlegs
  • TMV servicing, replacements and installations
  • Refurbishments and replacements of cold water storage tanks
  • Valve inspections and replacements
  • Calorifier inspections and disinfections
  • Make necessary modifications and replacements of existing pipework
  • Fault find on site and make appropriate recommendations for works

    Order necessary materials and parts
  • Price works and submit to clients
  • Keep an accurate log of completed works
  • Work to agreed deadlines and project scopes
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients
