Group Fitness Class Instructor

Overview

Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness is hiring athletic men and women to teach group exercise classes to our highly motivated members. The instructor will learn and follow choreography, keep time to music, inspire participants, and closely monitor safety and exertion levels for optimal enjoyment and success. Arrive early to class to meet participants and assist first-time visitors with questions or concerns.

• Teach group exercise classes and follow choreographed routines to music.
• Inspire and monitor safety and exertion levels of all participants.
• Arrive early to welcome participants and assist first-time visitors.
• Seek out questions and concerns from participants and address them as needed.

• Enthusiasm for group exercise; MOSSA and Les Mills instructors are encouraged to apply.
• Outgoing, energetic, and able to motivate others.
• Not certified but interested in teaching
  ; write a note in your cover letter or call the Center and ask for the Group Fitness Director to arrange a time to meet and discuss options.
• Flexible schedule; part-time hours vary with center needs and member usage. Substituting may become an option.
• Related dance or group exercise experience and a passion for fitness.
