Requirements

Position Responsibilities
  • The Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto trucks during the loading process.
  • Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
  • Ensure that hand trucks and tow motors are charged and placed in their respective positions for drivers, and all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on the trailer prior to leaving the dock.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
  • Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
