Warehouse Assistant

Overview

A-Line Staffing is now hiring General Warehouse Laborers in Insert City, State, and Zip Code. The General Warehouse Laborer would be working for a Major Manufacturing Company and has career growth potential.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Overtime as needed

• Pay Range: $20.00 Hourly

  Onsite

• Perform shipping and receiving duties requiring physical work in a Distribution Center environment
• Process UPS and LTL shipments including selecting product from pick tickets, palletizing/packing product, and preparing shipping documents
• Receive incoming product by counting and matching product counts, receiving product into Oracle, and placing inventory in proper locations
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using riding pallet jacks while ensuring proper product handling
• Ship product sample requests for associates, vendors, and customers
• Support inventory control through cycle counting activities
• Participate in warehouse cleaning and maintenance activities as needed
• Follow all safety, health, environmental (SHE), and security procedures to minimize workplace risk
• Participate in team auditing activities to maintain facility SHE compliance
• Work collaboratively within a rotating warehouse team environment

• High school diploma or GED required
• Warehouse experience required
• Inbound and outbound distribution experience required
• PC literate;
  Oracle experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts, riding pallet jacks, pallet scales, and calculators
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Understanding of shipping and receiving processes and customer requirements
• Strong technical aptitude for Distribution Center systems
• Ability to learn new processes and navigate warehouse systems efficiently
• Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures and regulations
