WIT Logistics/Walker SCM is looking for a Warehouse Admin for our operation in Enfield, North Carolina. We are looking for the right person who shares our philosophy of Operational Excellence on a daily basis. WIT Logistics primary objective is to deliver the right part, to the right place, at the right time.

Summary

The Warehouse Admin is responsible for administering departmental paperwork, conducting phone communications, and providing support to the processing of orders. A Warehouse Admin supports the Operations Management team to ensure the success of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all orders are received in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Locate parts, including received parts, put-away parts, and parts that are not yet received but still in trailers in the yard, to support emergency situations and avoid interruptions and shutdown of production lines.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction with an error/defect free service.
  • Adhere to customer requirements related to all warehouse processes.
  • Enforce all corporate policies and compliance to all procedures.
  • Communicate frequently with the team to ensure they are effectively executing their responsibilities.
  • Proactively communicate and escalate any 'defects and other situations in the warehouse that could potentially have minor or major impacts.
  • Promote a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement amongst team members to strive to better serve our customer.
  • Manage inventory accuracy at the highest levels. Understand and enforce adherence to product handling procedures, especially regarding product identification, and physical and system location procedures.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse. Maintain strong 5S results for cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
  • Notify the Manager or Supervisor of any anomalies in the operation.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
