Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Denver Tech Center to identify a Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and assist with month-end close in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and contribute immediately.

This position is paying between $29-$31/hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain general ledger activity
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
• Analyze financial data and assist with variance analysis
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Assist with audit support and documentation preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
• Experience with Net Suite or Oracle
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively
