Senior Accountant (Contract)
Pay: $42–$50/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Location: Englewood, CO

Express Employment Professionals of Centennial and Castle Rock is hiring a Temporary Senior Accountant for a manufacturing client in Englewood, CO. This role will support the Controller and accounting team with close processes, reconciliations, multi-entity accounting, AP/AR workflows, inventory and cost accounting, tax filings, ERP reporting, and process improvement.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant who can step into a temporary assignment, take ownership quickly, and support a growing manufacturing environment.
Job Highlights:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
- Assist with AP/AR workflows and process improvements
- Support inventory accounting and cost accounting processes
- Prepare and review Sales and Use Tax filings
- Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity planning
- Work within ERP systems to support data integrity and reporting
- Document and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience
- ERP system experience
- AP/AR workflow knowledge
- Sales and Use Tax compliance experience
- Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
- Inventory and cost accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
