Tri Stone Construction is hiring its first Accounting Manager, and this is the kind of role that does not come along often. We are a fast-growing, multi-entity specialty contractor redefining quality and reliability in exterior construction services across the multifamily real estate space.
Our finance function is being built for scale, with modern systems, a growing team, and a CFO who is committed to developing the people around them. The Accounting Manager will own the day-to-day accounting operations for the company, lead a team of three talented accounting professionals, and serve as right hand to the CFO on everything from month-end close to strategic financial planning.
There is an emphasis upon building a system of sound and scalable procedures around which the entire company may operate and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
- Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Manage job costing, project cost reporting, work-in-progress schedules, and cost allocations
- Oversee customer billing, collections, vendor payments, and subcontractor pay applications
- Ensure financial records, reporting, and accounting processes remain accurate and compliant
- Partner with operations and project management teams to support financial visibility and cost tracking
- Supervise and support accounting team members while helping improve processes and efficiencies
- Assist with audits, financial reporting, system optimization, and strategic accounting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
- Experience managing month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel required
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Advanced understanding of general ledger accounting and financial close processes
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and cash management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data and trends
- Ability to identify process improvements and support scalable accounting operations
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment
- Salary Range: $103,000 - $113,000 annually, depending on skills and experience
