Purpose:
Under direct supervision, the Cash App Coordinator receives funds from customers and records monetary transactions. The Cash App Coordinator communicates and interacts with vendors/banks and coworkers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization.
The Cash Application Representative position will perform the following duties:
- Record and process checks received into the lockbox/onsite
- Record batches and applies to invoices
- Research and resolve over and short payments
- Contact vendors to resolve problems relating to payments
- Provide support as needed with researching and resolving unapplied cash
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6-12 Months of Accounting, accounting admin support or related area
- 1-2 years experience in accounting, accounting admin support, or related
- AS400
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business
