Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $115,000 per year.

• Manage day to day accounting activities including financial transactions account maintenance and reporting functions.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Oversee project accounting activities by monitoring costs budgets and financial performance across multiple initiatives.
• Support payroll compliance reporting and audit related activities while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Develop and improve accounting processes controls and reporting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience including at least three years within a project based environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost tracking revenue recognition financial reporting and budgeting practices.
• Possess experience managing payroll activities and supporting compliance related requirements.
• Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively with accounting and financial management software.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial performance and identify trends.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail when preparing reports reconciliations and financial analyses.
• Communicate effectively with leadership project teams vendors and external business partners.
• Manage multiple priorities successfully while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Bring experience with project accounting systems work in progress reporting or multi project operations considered beneficial.
