We are partnering with a successful organization in Englewood, CO that is adding a Staff Accountant to a high-performing corporate finance team.

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Play an active role in monthly and year end close
• Prepare journal entries and supporting accounting schedules
• Own account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze account activity and dig into unusual variances
• Support financial statement preparation and monthly reporting
• Assist with accruals, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other general ledger activity
• Work across departments to gather information and resolve accounting questions
• Provide schedules and documentation for external audit requests
• Help maintain strong accounting controls and accurate financial records
• Participate in projects designed to make the accounting function smarter and more efficient

The Profile We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related discipline required
• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher required
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting concepts
• Accounting internships, public accounting, or corporate accounting exposure is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working through detailed financial information
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Clear and professional communication style
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• High standards for accuracy and follow through

What You Need To Know

• Location: Englewood, CO
• Compensation: Up to $85,000
• Schedule: Fully onsite during training with potential Friday remote flexibility thereafter
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one hour lunch
• Employment Type: Full time, permanent
