Please note that this job is hybrid. You will be required to work 3 days onsite in Englewood, CO. You will work the other 2 days from home.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Tax Analyst job in Englewood, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience processing sales and use tax returns.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $65,000 and $75,000 annually. You will be eligible for a bonus up to 15% of your salary. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities- Maintaining use tax compliance
- Preparing monthly sales and use tax filings
- Assisting with preparing for audits
- Reconciling accounts
- Reviewing transactions
- Resolving tax notices
- Reviewing tax exemptions
- Preparing monthly use tax accruals
- Preparing other non-income tax returns
- Preparing tax reports as needed
- Maintaining compliance with SOX requirements
- All other related tasks as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject preferred
- At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in transaction tax
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience with SAP and/or Vertex Tax Compliance software preferred
- Annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000
