Staff Accountant – Payroll Analyst

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including the recording, classification, and summarization of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP
• Initiate and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments across various accounts and entities
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Track and manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and capital expenditure monitoring
• Maintain the prepaid expense schedule and record recurring monthly amortizations accurately and on time
• Assist in timely month-end close, including income statement reviews
• Oversee end-to-end processing of multi-state payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
• Reconcile payroll reports to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies between the payroll system and financial records
• Analyze labor costs, overtime trends, and departmental allocations to provide reports for monthly income statement reviews and budgeting
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Experience in multi-location, healthcare, or physician enterprise environments preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of payroll experience preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and specialized payroll platforms
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central preferred
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrates expertise in managing accounting functions, including GAAP compliance, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Proficient in utilizing ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and support budgeting processes.
