FE Controls is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our office and Project Manager. This opportunity is great for new grads with a business administration and/or engineering background. Salary will be based on experience and is open for negotiation.

Project Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Administrative role, including filling out and submitting documents, creating and updating Excel files.
  • Break projects into doable actions and set time frames.
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
  • Help prepare budgets.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee project procurement management.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Keep inventory of materials for projects and create/submit purchase orders for more materials as needed.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • Work with the Project Manager.
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or related field of study.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Projects, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Access to available transportation.
  • Available to travel to various sites throughout the Bay Area.
