Position SummaryDenver Commercial Property Services is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our Operations team from 9:00am to 2:30pm. This position plays an important role in ensuring efficient office operations by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating project-related information, and assisting with day-to-day operational needs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with Microsoft Office, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document management.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
- Process, submit, and track 811 utility locate requests while maintaining organized documentation.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and calendars.
- Support project managers and operations staff with administrative tasks and project documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal departments.
- Assist with permit documentation and project-related paperwork.
- Monitor office supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain confidential employee and company information.
- Support special projects and perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or administrative certification is preferred but not required.
- Previous administrative, office support, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Experience in construction, property management, or a related industry is a plus.
To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the employee must be able to:
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently use a computer, keyboard, telephone, copier, printer, and other standard office equipment.
- Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Read both printed and electronic documents accurately.
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors in person, by phone, and electronically.
- Primarily performed in a professional office environment.
- Occasional visits to active construction or job sites may be required.
- When visiting job sites, employees must comply with all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, uneven terrain, construction noise, and moving equipment during site visits.
- $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
