Overview

This is an in-person position and can work from our Englewood, CO location or our Fort Worth, TX location.

Summary

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Support Specialist at Void Form plays an important role in supporting Void Form’s production processes. The role is responsible for reviewing a diverse range of materials data for accuracy, correct quantities, and units of measure. The ERP Support Specialist serves as a vital link between the product application and purchasing departments, and the production floor. By maintaining precise quantities and sourcing data they enable the accounting department to calculate accurate COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).

This position works closely with various departments and leaders to maintain 100% accuracy of data and perform crucial updates in the ERP system, Acumatica.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with Void Form policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:

  • Accurately and efficiently enters Bill of Material (BOM) data into Void Form’s ERP system, (Acumatica).
  • Reviews product structures with multi-level BOMS, categorizes products and materials using a hierarchical structure.
  • Works closely with production and purchasing departments to ensure seamless operations and technical clarity.
  • Works with the purchasing department to ensure technical clarifications are correctly specified and ordered.
  • Works closely with Plant Managers at all locations to ensure timely and accurate data is received and delivered.
  • Ensures BOM data adheres to standardized naming conventions, revision controls, and documentation requirements.
  • Develops and maintains BOM-related reports or dashboards to support leadership and departmental decision-making.
  • Partners with plant teams to validate material consumption and standard usage assumptions.
  • Develops and maintains accurate knowledge on various Void Form products, and the raw materials needed to produce finished goods.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate bills of materials for all finished goods items in the company’s ERP system with input from engineering, production, and R&D teams.
  • Monitors inventory levels and assists in forecasting material needs by reviewing historical, current, and upcoming demand.
  • Maintains the Item Master in the company’s ERP system including setup of new inventory items, managing product configuration, units of measure, warehouse setup, and inventory costing.
  • Monitors systems for any sudden changes or complications, resolves issues such as extended lead times and low inventory; works with vendors to establish resolutions.
  • Reviews and releases inventory receipt transactions in the company’s ERP system and flags any discrepancies identified to the appropriate purchasing team for follow-up.
  • Facilitates transfers between locations and monitors product requirements across various locations.
  • Coordinates routine inventory at each location, to ensure accurate and timely inventory counts.
  • Reviews inventory submittals and reconciles any discrepancies identified in the count process before submitting final adjustments to accounting.
  • Provides ad hoc analysis to leadership for the purpose of identifying material readiness and supply chain risks.
  • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned.
  • Position may require occasional travel to other Void Form locations as needed.
Requirements

MINIMUM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

(Education, Training, and Experience Required)

  • Required:

    HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Required:

    Minimum of 2 years experience in ERP systems (Acumatica preferred) and BOM creation.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (finance, accounting, logistics).
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and potential issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions; comply with Void Form’s behavior standards and values.
