Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Business Optimization with deep expertise in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, and LEAN methodologies. The role will be located in Englewood, CO or Austin, TX.

Key Position Responsibilities Strategic Operational Leadership
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating AI, automation, and LEAN principles throughout the organization’s operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the COO to align the operational strategy with the overall business objectives.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from complex data sets.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor and report on the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.
Data Innovation and Technology Integration
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of cutting‑edge AI and automation technologies to streamline and enhance operational processes.
  • Design and implement data collection, storage, and analysis processes to ensure the availability of accurate and reliable data for analysis.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the company’s analytics capabilities.
LEAN Methodology and Continuous Improvement
  • Translate data‑driven insights into actionable recommendations and strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
  • Embed LEAN principles across all operational processes to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
  • Create, manage and continuously improve value streams to optimize customer value creation across lines of business.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where data analytics can provide valuable insights.
  • Engage with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational strategies are in line with company goals.
High‑Level Management and Team Development
  • Oversee a team of data scientists, process engineers, systems analysts, and operational managers, promoting professional development and high performance.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment that fosters innovative thinking and problem‑solving.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options in Englewood, CO or Austin, TX. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 10+ years’ experience working in a SaaS operating model.
  • Data Analytics.

  • Travel up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree.
Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master’s + 4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.). This is not a requirement.
