POSITION SUMMARY
Are you ready to bring excitement, creativity, and endless energy to a summer full of adventures? Become a Summer Camp Aid and help kids ages 5-13 have the best summer ever! This is your chance to inspire, lead, and make a real difference in the lives of children while having an absolute blast!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGAs a Summer Camp Lead, you’ll work closely with the Youth Program Supervisor to design and run exciting daily activities that kids will love. Whether it’s outdoor play, gym games, arts and crafts, science experiments, or special events, you’ll make sure each activity is engaging, safe, and loads of fun! You’ll also help create positive behavior incentive programs and be a key part of keeping the camp environment fun, friendly, and full of smiles.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Planning and organizing exciting activities like arts & crafts, games, science projects, and field trips.
- Leading kids in outdoor play and gym games to keep them active and engaged.
- Working with your awesome team to create a safe and exciting camp environment.
- Communicating with parents, staff, and kids to ensure everyone has a fantastic time!
- Assisting in organizing special events that will be the highlight of the summer.

You’re a natural leader who loves to have fun and keep things exciting for kids. - Great Communication
Skills:
Whether you’re talking to a camper, a parent, or a fellow staff member, you know how to communicate clearly and effectively. - Experience Working with Kids:
You’ve got at least 480 hours of hands‑on experience with school‑aged children and can provide 3 letters of reference verifying your hours. - Team Player:
You’ll be working with other fantastic staff members, so being a great collaborator is key!
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 480 hours of experience working with school‑aged children (and 3 letters of reference to confirm it).
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification (can be completed within 30 days of employment).
- Driver’s License:
If eligible, you’ll need to drive a City motor vehicle to take kids on field trips, so a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are a must!

HOURLY PAY RANGE$15.46 - $23.20/Hourly Rate
Anticipated Starting Rate: $19.00/Hourly Rate
This is a seasonal, part time position.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENINGSThis position is subject to a mandatory drug screening (5 Panel - Includes THC) and a background screening.
