Compensation: $25 per hour
Position Summary
Join our energetic and member-focused team as a Summer Camp Supervisor, where you will lead daily camp operations while creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for campers. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, excel in leadership roles, and thrive in a dynamic, hospitality-driven setting.
Glenmoor Country Club's Summer Camp serves children in grades K-6, offering recreational, creative, and social activities designed to deliver exceptional summer experiences for our member families.
Key Responsibilities
Camp Planning & Programming
- Develop and plan 8 weeks of age-specific camp programming
- Create weekly themes and corresponding activities (games, crafts, recreation, etc.)
- Contribute to the daily activity schedule template
- Facilitate and lead assigned camp groups through the daily schedule
- Supervise, lead, and support a team of 2-3 Summer Camp Staff members
- Create and manage staff schedules and daily assignments
- Provide direction, coaching, and timely performance feedback
- Organize and lead small, age-specific group activities
- Ensure constant supervision and safety of campers
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere
- Address behavioral concerns using positive management techniques
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies
- Manage daily camp billing and charges
- Process and verify member account postings
- Maintain accurate attendance and activity records
- Document incidents, injuries, or notable camper concerns
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians
- Communicate daily updates, concerns, and highlights
- Handle questions, requests, and feedback professionally
- Deliver warm, polished, and hospitality-driven member interactions
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures
- Ensure proper camper sign-in/sign-out protocols
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness of camp areas
- Follow all applicable club and Colorado State Regulations
- Serve as a confident, positive, and professional leader
- Model Glenmoor Country Club's hospitality and service standards
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance
- Demonstrate reliability, organization, and sound judgment
- Build positive relationships with campers, parents, and team members
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Experience with member service or hospitality environments
Because this role works directly with minors, candidates must successfully complete a background screening prior to employment.
