- Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and construction, to facilitate seamless project execution and communication.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory agencies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Manage procurement processes, including selecting and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure necessary resources for project execution.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to project team members to enhance performance and productivity.
- Implement best practices in project management methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to ensure compliance and facilitate future project reviews.
- Engage in post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned for future projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in infrastructure technology to inform project strategies and enhance service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Colorado.
- Knowledge of advanced construction technologies, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Previous experience working with government or municipal projects.
